Shot on Alexa, so should have pristine image quality. But somehow they managed to add a nasty aliasing problem to the 1080p on the Blu Ray.

I watched 'Predestination' via Blu-ray rental (RedBox) yesterday and I can't stop thinking about the film. It's a smart sci-fi film in the time travel genre. It's not a movie for everyone. Not "mainstream" at all. But, for the right viewers, it's a terrific film that entertains and makes you think at the same time. It's a movie that friends should watch together so you can talk about it afterward.


The Booth Bijou gives 'Predestination' 4 out of 5 stars. The more I think about it the more inclined I am to raise that to 4.5 stars, but I'll stick with 4 for right now.


Again, it's not a movie for everyone. And be careful reading reviews because, in my humble opinion, some critics are giving away too much. If you must read a review, I recommend this one:
