There are a few other anime shows that got shown in the U.S., including "Astro Boy," "Kimba the White Lion," "Marine Boy," and "Princess Knight" that have gotten DVD releases in the U.S. "Astro Boy" may not be complete, but it's close. I think they couldn't find a few episodes.

Also, "Star Blazers" got released on DVD in English. And "Robotech."

As most of you know, These two gems are my "Holiest Grails". Expect a shock wave of BIBLICAL proportions originating from my house in Florida if these ever get a DVD release! :rolling-smiley:

This list excludes adult animated sitcoms, I presume (The Simpsons, King of the Hill, etc)?

A few live-action kids' programs missing include Kenan and Kel (Nickelodeon, MOD, 1990s), Clarissa Explains it All (Nickelodeon, 1990s) and The Adventures of Pete and Pete (Nickelodeon, 1990s)

A lot of the late 60s through early 80s live action stuff is missing too: most of the Krofft shows have been released, the Filmation ones (Ark II, Shazam, etc...), the PBS ones like the Electric Company, the Hanna Barbera ones (Korg, Benji, Zax and the Alien Prince), the ABC Afterschool Specials, as well as Lancelot Link, the Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show, Monster Squad, Red Hand Gang, and Big John, Little John.

I couldn't find in your list the HB CB Bears episodes.

Do you know if the studios intend to release any episode from this series or all of it on DVD/Blue ray?

I wish Cosgrove Hall would get off their duffs and release their "Wind in The Willows" series. That one was a hundred times better than "Danger Mouse"

Does Space Ghost Coast-To-Coast really qualify as a kids series? I thought that was a parody talk show with a decidedly adult bent to it.

Yes, it's far more adult-oriented than kid-oriented, but TVonDVDJunkie05's master list includes the Williams Street series Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and Sealab 2021, also both parodies with major adult bents to them, and I noticed Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast was absent, as are Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Brak Show and a host of others. I guess this thread's list is a catch-all for general animated series, besides just kid-appeal animated series and live-action kid shows, though maybe some are on the Sitcom/Comedy thread and/or some of these just slipped his mind while he was compiling.

Great list! One that popped up in my mind is Cool McCool (1969). (Only because I watched it recently -- I may have missed it if it's in the list.)

I favorited this thread for the list. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Regarding New Zoo Revue: Not that anyone asked, but BCI released a "Season 1" set containing 59 episodes. They did 65 episodes that season so that set is incomplete. However, prior to this there were four single-disc volumes of three episodes each released by Delta, and among those twelve episodes were the "missing six" from the first season. My guess would be that BCI couldn't include them because they had already been licensed to Delta?
I have noticed (not that anyone asked) that episodes from later seasons have the copyright info and distributor name plastered over with one from the end of a first season show. I wonder why?
There used to be an episode guide on line which numbered the shows 1 through 196. This puzzled me since there were 195 episodes. I scanned through the list and noticed somewhere along the way, whoever compiled it accidentally skipped a number.
There is a "gag reel" from the show on You Tube which is definitely NSFW! Appears to be something the cast and crew did as they were wrapping production for the season. It would have made an interesting extra for the DVD set, but I suppose I can understand why they didn't include it!
