OK, to keep this as simple as possible: I have some components already I would like to use in new home, the very crappy rendering below shows the layout, for perspective the overall room is about 35x31, pretty much the great room, center of the house. There is also a dedicated HT room so I do not want to beat my head against the wall about the less than ideal shape and layout of this room for HT.

speakers 1-4 are speakercraft MT6 I already have, the two subs are BA vsi s8w2 with the amp to power them (SA-1). I will have a 65" LED on the "north" wall, planning on putting 1,2 and 3 MT6's for L/R/C there and a BA Sub, the ceiling in that open area is a tray/coffer ceiling, planning on some in ceiling (Speakercraft?) to aim down and forward to main viewing area. The "southeast" corner is the bar, was planning on using the remaining MT6 and BA sub there. The other "C?" are potential in ceiling for ambient music, the "OD" is future outdoor speakers. Should have plenty of receiver for this area of the home, have a Denon 2307CI and a Yamaha RX-v620 (and the SA-1) that are not being used elsewhere.

I know my drawing is stupid, keep those remarks to yourself lol. I just want to know if my plan is stupid or any other input offered.

opposite as in "north"? that would be a ceiling speaker as yet to be determined ("C?"). To the right of 4 is the other BA SW82 tentatively ("sub").

I am trying to use all of the stuff I have, which includes a crapton of stuff I bought from a guy who was getting foreclosed on in Vail (I could probably post a list but it is a literal truckload of stuff, down to connectors, controllers, wiring, conduit etc)

Well..."4" is by itself. Home audio is predicated on stereo. Not mono. Unless you are going to run mono 70v...(Or you get rid of one of the non-surround "c" or buy single source stereo speakers.)

that was part of my question, whether or not there is a point to using it. I may be better off using them (the speakercrafts) as fronts and surrounds and try and find a SC center to match, then just buy some in ceilings for audio. No reason the sub should not work there though?

The only question on the sub(about working)...what is feeding signal?Or were you planning in-ceiling passing through high levels of a sub?(Working under the assumption that these other speakers will be ran as zone 2)

I think I am getting you? Yes, the bar/sitting area as a zone two, signal being zone 2 audio (or I suppose zone 2 movie if I wanted). Plenty of power supplied by sub amp (but I do not think that is what you are asking)
