Gone Girl, cat. Did the cat do it? Cats are often plotting.

I might buy it next year.

One of the best films of the year. A must buy for sure (but then I say that about almost all of David Fincher's films... )

Just finished watching this.

Terrific...Terrific film.

As already noted, one of the best of the past year.

I am not a Ben Affleck fan by any means, but he owned this film.

Didn't want the story to end.

What a great price (now under $19) for the neatly packaged

Blu-ray and book (that I will probably never get to read)

A bit disappointed in the relative lack of supplemental features, compared to the usually-stacked Fincher releases we've gotten recently (Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network), but this film was simply so damn great when I saw it in the theater that I knew I wouldn't be able to resist.

The commentary track is still quite good regardless, but you can tell that 20th Century-Fox does things quite a bit differently than Sony in the special features department, nowadays.

Well this film really struck a nerve with me. David Fincher is one of my absolute favorite directors, and I thought this was a terrific film both technically and thematically up until the last 10 seconds of the movie.

Then the ending instantly pushed it into one of my most despised films ever, and it takes a lot for that for me. I can't fault Fincher for that as I'm sure he's following the source material. but man that pissed me off a lot, and made me feel like I just wasted 2.5 hours of my life.

I don't mind 'bad' endings at all. It didn't bother me one bit that she got away with it. Hell I wouldn't have minded even if she had ended up killing him.

But his decision to stay with her after all that, just really rubbed me the wrong way and pissed me off to the point that I felt robbed from the story, like you invest 2.5 hours in a movie, you expect a certain entertainment payoff, but that decision at the end was just stupid.
