My Sony BDP-S6200 Blu-ray player is connected to my Onkyo TX-NR929 Receiver by HDMI.

Player only outputs PCM sound from all Blu-ray discs, so I can't get DTS HD Master Audio from my receiver.

What have I done wrong?

A moderator can move it(I would but I can only moderate hardware).Set the BD player bitstream.(If the 6200 can decode MCH anyway...it makes zero difference if the player or AVR does the decodingPart of the 6200 spec is 6/8 channel lpcm output. So you have it set to decode.)

Thanks. How do I do this? This thing only has a very superficial manual.

I'd like to see DTS HD Master Audio on my receiver like I had with my previous player.

When I press Display on the receiver I can see it only gets PCM instead of DTS Master HD.

Same, exact, audio regardless.Go into set up. The same place you had to set it up for 4:3 or 16:9. 1080i or 1080P. 24fps or 60hz.Just choose audio.
