The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer:All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from theirprinted Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by eachchain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the websiteprice.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week inthe RoundUp.The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well asthose which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers(and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don'tcomplain! If there is a title not includedin the RoundUp that youwant to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough topost and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp.They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, sothere is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR localWal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still outof business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their pricesanyway).

That History channel compendium of 20 discs.....I can't find a decent listing. Closest was from a Lionsgate promo sheet.

Thanks for the early Thanksgiving gift, Mike!

I will be reviewing The Giver tomorrow, so that review will be up in the evening. I requested The Long Goodbye but, alas, no dice.

Hey Mike - Criterion's Tootsie is a mid-December release (thought for a moment they didn't send me a review copy!):)

God, the Expendables 3 was so terrible. The only reason I saw it was a free coupon in the Expendibles 2 blu I picked up, so I only saw it for a couple of bucks. And that was seriously overpriced! If you like 80's action flicks, stay far, far away.

MST3K, on the other hand - Gimmie! Gimmie!

Got my hopes up for a second there that Tootsie was coming out sooner than I thought  and had me planning yet another run to B&N! Sigh... That's all right, my wallet could use a break and I've already bought more than enough Criterions this year to keep me occupied until at least next July!

Dammit. Not only was it on my lists of this week's releases (that I check when putting together the RoundUp) but it was also included in Amazon's list of releases for this week (even though they show a release date of December 16th).

Don't know what happened...but--sorry everybody! I'll be taking down the Tootsie references shortly.

I'm happy to see Better Off Ted season 2 coming to DVD at long last and I will get it, but not at that price, so I'll wait for it to drop. Nothing else this week until the Black Friday sales.

Thanks for the Roundup, Mike.

Yikes what a price on Better Off Ted. It's still on NF streaming i think. Also for those who want it and have a Movie Stop they are taking pre-orders on it for $15

So...*sigh*...I should never even think about going to the store anymore.

Yesterday, at Costco, I picked up Scrooged and It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie.

And I went to BB today for Gravity 3D...and only Gravity 3D. I walked out with Sopranos S1 and 6.5, Boardwalk Empire S2-4 and Veep S2.

I sent a picture to the guy I'm seeing and he responded, "You need supervision." Yeah...that's not going to work. :D

So your resolution of responsibility didn't even last a week...

Ooops. That's right. It hadn't even lasted a few days.

Yep, it didn't last, Mike. Honestly, I have been in SUCH a good mood the last few days, I figure it's all good at this point. Mortgage is paid for the month, Christmas is WELL in hand and I have some extra cash. So why not? :)

(What I honestly need is someone in the store with me giving me a really disapproving look...)
