Saw this listed on Amazon. Does not appear to be the original Robert Shaw movie.

Someone know about this version?

This is the Mario Bava film that Kino botched so badly they had to pull the whole pressing run back and start over. Originally it was going to be a double feature, Black Sunday and Black Sabbath. Now they've chopped the program in two and are charging the same price for half. Ripoff. The Masters of Cinema versions of these films in the UK have both versions of each film in a single package. Kino has totally messed up by releasing just one release of each version. You have to buy three blu-rays and you still don't have what Masters of Cinema released on two.

In agreement with bigshot on this. Since Kino botched the Black Sunday and Black Sabbath so badly, I'm going to forgo these.

Kino's decision to release the international and AIP versions on separate discs is indeed a boneheaded decision, especially with the standard premium pricing on both. How stingy can you get, Kino?

One correction though: It's Arrow Video that's releasing the UK films, not Masters of Cinema. And those Arrow blu-rays are indeed what we should all be getting, since they offer both versions bundled together at a better price.
