I would be a lot more supportive of Kino if their preorder prices were a lot more consistent (and lower). $16 one month, $19 the next and now $21 for a movie with no extras?

Amazon sets the preorder pricing as MSRP is the same for all of Kino's titles.

And it will change several times before release date....pre-order now and Amazon guarantees lowest price at release date. With the way the Kino prices fluctuate, I always pre-order them early.

I picked this up for the K/L amazon sale, to round out my Cannon Films collection. This flick is surprisingly good! Yeah, it's low budget and full of the Sleaze that you would expect from the Go-Go boys, but the acting is strong from all players (especially Scheider who was in his Jaws/French Connection mode more than his Blue Thunder and 2010 mode). The story is gripping enough and has enough twists and turns in it to be entertaining. All in all, a satisfying purchase.

I love the movie, it's a great mix of real drama and exploitation. The disc is pretty average though, an improvement on DVD obviously but nothing really impressive video-wise. No extras at all. Kino have been doing much better lately however with releases like Miracle Mile and Truck Turner.
