I see where Odeon Entertainment released this WWII film on BD yesterday in the UK.....

Everything I see online indicates it's a Region B locked title, but I've found online listings to be pretty inconsistent in terms of accuracy and Odeon has released other titles (Gold w/ Roger Moore for one) region-free. I'm not currently region-free (and don't have plans to purchase a region-free player in the near future for various reasons), but would be curious to hear from anyone that has (or gets) this disc to post to whether it's region-locked or not.

Thanks!!

Just an update. I asked Odeon on Facebook and they replied that this disc was Region B locked. But I took a shot anyway as many of Odeon's releases state they are locked but are actually region-free. Happily my disc arrived last week and the release is indeed region-free. Transfer looks very good. Nice to have this in my collection.

I guess they have to say that's region B-locked.

Good for you that it is region-free. :)
It was funny....Odeon has a Ebay seller account which had it listed as region-free but they would not ship to the US. I asked about it on Facebook and they were like "Oh, don't pay any attention to that, it's region b locked, we will change that listing immediately". The listing is still there.....they apparently are bound to the Region B charade for legal purposes.

It does not matter if you do not have a region/zone free player. All you have to do is have a programme ( free) on your computer that will automatically remove both the region/zone coding as well as the copyright protection, when you burn a copy. People have been doing this world wide for many years despite the legalities of it all. I don't know anyone who does not have this free programme.

Please post links to this program. Thanks.

If you just want to watch discs, it's a lot easier to pick up a region-free player.
