Can modern HTRs output HDMI video from one HDMI source, and audio from a separate RCA source at the same time? If so, what is this feature called when I go looking for a new HTR? I have a 5yr old Yamaha HTR... 6420 I believe? Anyways, I'm fairly certain it's not capable of this unless I'm missing something. Basically I have a DJ music controller which is hooked up to my HT PC and my HTR. I need to see the video feed from the computer but I need to hear the audio from my DJ controller. I could unplug the HDMI from the computer to the HTR and plug it straight into the TV, or I could use an HDMI switcher from the computer but I'm wondering if modern HTRs can do this without the added fuss or gear.

That is not a feature, it is a "happenstance"...If you select a video source first...Then select an audio only source (cd, phono, tape...but not tuner...as tuner is not an input)...The video stays.

Surely this must depend on your specific make and model of HTR? I'll try it tonight and then kick myself if it works for buying an HDMI switcher and 2 new cables.
