Halloween 2014 Pumpkin Carves...take a look! (1 Viewer)

These carves are done by me on craft foam pumpkins. I grew tired of carving numerous real pumpkins in marathon sessions prior to Halloween only to have them rot and die so quickly. Carving on foam pumpkins allows them to be displayed for years without any degradation or loss of results. In addition, I now donate at least two pumpkins to a local Children's hospital, and since they can't have anything that can create or add germs, the foam ones fill that need nicely...as well as giving sick children something to look at other than empty hallways on Halloween night.Most carves are based on patterns from pumpkin sites on the net, with some modifications here and there by me using a Dremel and various drill and diamond burr bits.Have a good Halloween.Enjoy

lol, no. I took the Animal carve (sesame street) and the Tigger carves down there. NO scary stuff for the hospital. =]
