I think the white console is kind of ugly. I prefer my electronics black.

This looks like a good game from the reviews, but reminds me a lot of Dead Rising 3...which I had absolutely zero interest in. I dunno, I look at this game and I just don't care at all. It's like the kind of game that I would probably pick up if I got an XBO so I could have something to play and I'd probably enjoy it, but I wouldn't consider it a selling point to get me to actually buy a console.

Guess I'll find out. I picked up an XBone with this game as the pack-in. Would have preferred black for the console, but it was cheaper going the white console/SO route than picking up the Black with Forza. I didn't want to spend the extra hundred bucks for the Kinect peripheral, especially after the salesman said he had it and thought it was entirely useless and half-assed when it came to functioning.

Edit: The look of it reminds me a lot of Infamous 2 mixed with Ratchet and Clank.

That was my reaction to the TV commercials for the game. :)
After playing it for a while, my impression that it is a mixture of Infamous and Ratchet and Clank (minus Clank) game for adults is pretty well solidified. There is a lot of rail grinding and an undercurrent of humour to the game, albeit with a more adult tone in language and content than R&C. It's not bad, although I find I start confusing some of the controls when the action gets lively. I also don't like how the weapons menu operates in the game. I don't like having to call up a wheel with one button and then weapon select by rotating one of the analog sticks. In games like this one I'd rather be able to cycle through weapons by just pushing one button until I find the one I want.

Yeh, infamous combined with ratchet. The grinding made me think right away of infamous. The controls are not as good though
