Tom St Jones
Supporting Actor
Most of the following were early DVD releases (now mostly OOP) but 8 years into the Blu-ray format have yet to see the high-def light of day (at least in my native land, North America)...or standard def MOD, for that matter.
I've been wondering if perhaps legal entanglements are holding one or more of them up?
The Ipcress File (Michael Caine, 1965) (50th anniversary next year. Would love to see Criterion grab this one, and I'm sure they'd love to)
Sleuth (Michael Caine/ Laurence Olivier, 1972)
The Day of the Jackal (Edward Fox, 1973)
Blow-Up (1966) (another Criterion natural, I'd think)
Tom Jones (Albert Finney, 1963 Best Picture Oscar winner)
By the way, any rumors of Paramount/ Warner taking advantage of the holidays to reissue "Scrooge" (1970), with some extras and the OVERTURE back in? Or rather, perhaps for next year (it's 45th anniversary)?
