Elizabeth Peña has died. Hard to express my sadness. Jacob's Ladder, for me she's perfection. :*(

Only 55. Read "Natural causes".

I'm not in the mood for JL... will save it for another time.

Was shocked when I saw this earlier today. Will always remember her in "Lone Star". Her dance with Chris Cooper was hot and heartbreaking at the same time.

RIP Elizabeth Pena. Loved her in Lone Star. Small turns in movies/shows I liked (Rush Hour and Without A Trace) kept her on my radar. And of course who can forget her wonderful voiceover work in The Incredibles!

Natural causes at 55? I find that hard to believe. I wasn't a follower of hers but did like her in La Bamba and The Incredibles.

Come on guys, really? Anyone can die of natural causes (heart attack, stroke, aneurysm, cancer, etc.) at ANY time. Being 55 doesn't make you bulletproof.

RIP Elizabeth. You were a talented actress and you'll be missed!

But still...we need to fool ourselves, esp those of us approaching or already over 50.

Yep...my first wife died 7 years ago at age 40. Aneurysm. Perfectly healthy one day, gone the next. We aren't promised our next breath......

Aboslutely the same with me, you think old age. But things happen. My cousin died last year, same age as me. Massive heart attack. He'd just semi-retired at 47.

I mainly remember her from "Rush Hour", but also her appearances on numerous shows on CBS.
