Thanks, Sam!

Nice to see the Elite CineWhite material performs well in this review (as a close runnerup to the Silver Ticket amongst affordable options). That's what I just got w/ Eiite's 120" Yard Master 2 (for a portable screen).

I'm surprised though that the DIY paint options don't perform better than this review indicates, especially in terms of gain... given my own limited experience w/ just projecting on my (very slightly off) white wall -- I've actually been quite satisfied w/ that so far after ~6 months now... although I did need to tweak the color a little bit from the get-go (and some black matte borders would be helpful). No idea what actual paint was used for the wall, and we haven't repainted in over 10 years now. Maybe ignorance is bliss in this regard... :P although I can say the wall-projected image (from BenQ W1070) looks every bit as good to me as my Samsung 61" LED-based DLP RPTV (but bigger of course), which is still in use in the same room (though not for high quality content now)...

I do think I'll need to readjust the color a bit for the Elite CineWhite screen from what I have it for the white wall (after watching Young Frankenstein on the Elite screen). Fortunately, the BenQ projector has 2 separate HDMI inputs w/ separate color settings, so I can just use one for each target and not have to futz everytime I switch...

I may consider hanging the Elite screen instead of continuing w/ just the bare wall, but it's enough work to breakdown and setup again, especially w/ limited space in my livingroom, (for periodic use outside/away from home) that I'm not sure I want to bother at this point... :P
