Pretty much same UI and feel as Borderlands 2 but with a lot more talking between your character and the NPCs during adventuring. Also the first battles against the creatures on the moon seem twitchier fighting style than previous but that may just be first impressions. Only played through the first area and mission so far as Nisha. The intro song doesn't seem as good as the first two games to me.

No real deals on this for PC and not available on next gen, so I am holding off on this until one or the other happens and I tire of Destiny and Mordor....

I haven't yet played enough of it but it seems like it might be something for people who loved to play B2 but are bored to death with the missions and/or characters and want some new ones. It also seems to be a bit of platformer like Super Mario of old but it is too early to tell if that is just a current mission type of thing or it continues throughout the game. There are several semi-precision jumps and many times I have fallen to my death in the lava pools below because I jumped too far, didn't have enough speed, or hadn't found the correct way to get from here to the other side.

I used to love the low gravity level in Quake, so I'm guessing that the Pre-Sequel is right up my alley. Being able to play as a Claptrap is something that appeals to me. Obviously I don't know how well this will work in the game, but I love the idea.

I just started this last week. I have already died more times in this game than I did the entire play through of BL2. The moon buggy jumps, and platforming are way harder in this gravity. I keep falling into lava. I don't really enjoy the platforming aspect of these games. I feel like I am playing Super Mario on a Nintendo.

I hope I can get used to it. It is costing me a lot of "death taxes".

Does anyone know if the drop rates for legendary weapons is better in TPS than in BL2?
I only picked up 2 legendary guns. Both were on the same session when I was doing missions in "the fridge". This was early in the game so they were not much good when the game started to get hard. Then I got one from the Warrior. I never had a chance to use it. I also never once saw one for sale in the vending machines. And I looked at every one every time. I even fast traveled around all over just on the hope I could find one. No luck.

I hope they get dropped a little more frequently in TPS. I am watching a play through of BL(1) and that dude is half-way through and has had about 6 drop. (I am jealous)

I finished this game this last weekend. I think if it weren't for the buggy jumps/platforming aspect and the final boss battle, It would say it was better than BL2. But as it is, I would say BL2 wins.

I really hated the final boss battle in BL2:TPS. It felt like a completely different game. The BL2 Warrior seemed to fit in much better.
