(TL;DR: Can I access the service menu for an RCA T19408 [manufactured in 2001], and if so, how?)
Hello, Home Theater Forum. I wanted a bedside TV, so I picked up an RCA T19408 (19") via the "free" section of Craigslist. It has two RCA inputs and a coaxial input. Its geometry proved almost perfect with RCA devices like my Xbox and N64. However, I later got the inclination to use my old PC (which has an S-Video output jack) to play emulators and watch videos on the TV, so I got this S-Video to RCA adapter:

and connected it. Now with this S-Video device, there are black bars on the top and bottom of the screen, even when my screen resolution is set at a 4:3 resolution like 400x300. Fine, I thought; this can be adjusted in the service menu that most TVs made after 1990 are supposed to have. So I searched for the service menu code for my specific model and got nothing. Then, I simply searched "RCA TV service menu code", and all I got was "Hold MENU; press and release POWER; press and release VOL+". This doesn't work using the remote, and the TV itself doesn't even have a "MENU" button. My best bet right now would be to keep browsing Craigslist, but I'd rather make this one work if I can. If someone can lead me to where I can download the service manual free of charge, that would be superb.
