Hi, I'm new..google found me this site, and it seems like a good place to ask.
I have an Advent AV009Sub Subwoofer. I got it at one of those traveling Electronics Shows that were all the rage back in the 90's.. I've had it likely around 15 years.
It's served me well for years.
Recently the power supply died. However, the supply that came with it wasn't an Advent supply, but a Labtech one, that the vendor had bundled with it. He had done something to it..changed the tip..changed the polarity...not sure..there's a section of the cable where things were changed and insulated over..I can't remember what had been done.
I want to look into replacing the power supply. But other than "AC IN 15V" there's no info on requirements on the Subwoofer itself.
I'm HOPING, someone might have info on Voltage/Amp/polarity needed.
(additionaly if someone knows the impedence on this, that would be great, as I've recently started really learning about that and how it affects systems).
