TRUE DETECTIVE (1 Viewer)

Fabulous character and story driven series very mysterious very little action. These two detectives working together are not at all like Gibson and Glover. During the series first episode you are lead to believe McConaughey is a real strange dude, and he surely is. Great detective just a very strange dude. As you get deeper into the first episode you come to the conclusion Harrelson is also a really strange dude. Harrelson maybe married with two children living in a very nice home and neighborhood but he is also a strange dude just strange in a different way.

McConaughey and Harrelson play off each other like I haven't see before. McConaughey brooding, slow moving, always thinking able to draw the lines that lead to the killer. As McConaughey says "just because you don't have any bodies doesn't mean you don't have a serial killer". Harrelson quick moving, quick tempered, very impatient, shoot first ask questions later.

The first season is beautifully shot in Louisiana. The story is told in flashbacks when a similar case in 2012 leads to an investigation of the original 95 case. McConaughet and Harrelson tell their story how their investigation affected their lives as detectives, men and friends.

HBO has announced Colin Farrel and Vince Vaughn will star in season 2 of TRUE DETECTIVE which takes place in California.

I am interested in this but waiting for a severe price drop.
