Interesting, Cookie Clicker works on iPad but it's best to let it run idle which doesn't work. I didn't realize Heroes was flash, I run it in Chrome so I don't even see the bug.

Cookie Clicker on my iPad 3 is oversized (have to scroll a lot to see the whole page) and runs too slowly to make sense of.

Ok, I'm trying CookieClicker on desktop. This is madness. :)

I wish I had access at work; there are days when 20 min of this would really help.

Cookie clicker, got those grandmas making me cookies. Man, what an RSI fest :(Hero Clicker is cute and different. I think I like cc better thematically and stylistically, but hc requires more agency of the player.

I've had CookieClicker running in the background on my iMac for the past day. :) I'm at 2M cps, and am letting it run tonight to accrue the 4B cookies I need to buy the ... Well, whatever is after Time Machine. It's like BitCoin mining for the cookie loving slacker :)

I think passive gaming and free-to-play games with microtransactions and automatically replenishing "energy" are the downfall of mobile and casual gaming.

If the video game industry can be brought down by Cookie Clicker, they deserved it :)

This is an amusing and novel diversion. My session started 36 hours ago. But I've reached the point where upgrades and new novelties are hours away, not minutes (or seconds as at the start). Which means my interest is waning. The point at which I have to decide whether to wait overnight to click Upgrade A vs Upgrade B is foreseeable, at which point I close the tab and forget about it forever.

And then I'll find some time to wonder back to Thomas was Alone on my iPhone and enjoy some more platforming.

I'm not referring to these particular games necessarily, but the equivalents that are on facebook and mobile devices. People get into them, start to play, then get burned out and stop playing anything. Huge companies are built on these things (Zynga) and then collapse once people decide it's not worth the time or effort or money anymore (Zynga). This leads to a whole host of issues for the people who make games and pushes the industry in the wrong direction. And the worst part is that the irony of Cow Clicker is still lost on so many people.

Had my first Flash crash in Chrome yesterday, over a month without it crashing (tho I shut down CH when idling) so that's something I guess. On the down side it crashed so hard I had to reset my whole machine. The only other time I reset my MBA is when installing a major OS update. Months and months of uptime normally.Good guide:http://www.reddit.com/r/ClickerHeroes/comments/2kk0wi/simple_idle_guide/

I don't click passive things; if I want to click away like mad, I'd rather keep things moving and happening toward the larger goal.

Give me a good diner-waitress, hair-salon or wedding-reception time-management game any day.
