Yeah, I've been surprised at how good the reviews are. That said, how much are they advertising this?

There were some TV ads during football today. Not sure how many people like Lord of the Rings, Assassin's Creed-style games, and professional football but hopefully there's enough of them.

What sort of game is it? Is it a full-on RPG, or more of an action-RPG hybrid?I've seen some TV ads, but aside from cool graphics I don't know much.

It seems to have the stealth and traversal gameplay of Assassin's Creed with the fighting system of the Arkham games wrapped in a Lord of the Rings open world.

It was always on my buy list since im a huge LOTR fan but the fact it turned out great was a nice surprise indeed.

I've been playing this game for about a week now, and I would say that it has been disappointing.

Good graphics and easy gameplay, but the narrative is very hard to follow. No real logical flow, that I can tell. Plus, is anyone else finding the font incredibly small?

The story is really nothing great and the script is full of Lord of the Rings references, but the thing that makes the game so great is the Nemesis System. The combat flows well and the stealth/parkour stuff is really good, but the Nemesis parts are what make it unique.

As for small fonts, that's an incredibly common issue with HD games. The developers assume that what looks good on the PC monitors they work with (when they're just a couple feet away) will look good on a huge TV from 10 feet away, so the fonts always look too small.
