Hadn't seen any discussion of this here, so I wanted to make sure all HTF soundtrack fans knew of this release. Sony Legacy is putting out "Henry Mancini: The Classic Soundtrack Collection" on November 18. It's a 9 CD set with "all of Mancini s soundtrack albums for the RCA, Epic and Columbia labels" - 18 albums in all. Here's the lineup:

2. BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY S (1961) / CHARADE (1963)
3. HATARI! (1962) / OKLAHOMA CRUDE (1973)
4. WHAT DID YOU DO IN THE WAR, DADDY? (1966) / HIGH TIME (1960)
5. EXPERIMENT IN TERROR (1962) / DARLING LILI (1970)
6. GUNN (1967) / WHO IS KILLING THE GREAT CHEFS OF EUROPE? (1978)
7. TWO FOR THE ROAD (1967) / ARABESQUE (1966)

Amazon has this up for pre-order for $90, which appears to be list. Still, $10 a disc (or $5 per soundtrack) is not a bad deal. Maybe one of the mods can put up an HTF affiliate link.
Anyway, I don't have any of these, although I'm familiar with well over half. The lack of Mancini has been a glaring hole in my soundtrack collection. I'll be happily filling it in with this box.
