Arrow have a Price/Corman/Poe six film box set released in November. The films are:

The Fall Of The House Of Usher
The Pit & The Pendulum
Tales Of Terror
The Raven
The Haunted Palace
The Tomb Of Ligeia

The box includes a book (200 pages I think). Usher & Pendulum have already been released, & the others will get an individual release next year. I'll probably wait, as with the films I've already got, I only want two more, Tales Of Terror & The Raven.

The boxset looks very nice specially with that book included. However I already have the first Shout boxset and I was looking to get Volume 2 and the Arrow box has some key Price titles missing .
Bit of a dilemma .
Buy the Arrow box and buy some films twice or don't buy it and miss out on the book and extras.
I think the 2 Shout volumes do include all the actual films from the Arrow box

I fully expect the remaining titles to be part of a third Price set from Shout.

I wish they had included THE PREMATURE BURIAL. It's one of the very best Corman/Poe films; every bit as good as PIT and USHER. Even though it doesn't star Price, Ray Milland is excellent in it.

And no Masque Of The Red Death, they obviously can't license that one. I have the German release, & will buy the German Premature Burial.
