I have an expensive OLD bose system that I got as a gift and sound is still great and I don't want to put $$ into a new sound system. It has these wide flat stereo wires that go from back of sub woofer to the 4 different stereo speakers.

I have a rather old receiver I think I bought around 2009 I think. These stereo wires are the type like all the old stereo speaker wires that have to be inserted into holes by holding down the clip to expose the little hole and then the little wires are inserted in those holes.

Anyway, I wanted to know if there was any type of adapter that can be used with these wires as I would like to get a new receiver and the new receiver may not have this type of connection. I am using HDMI cables for t.v. and other equipment.

Thanks
