Very low bar for "shizzle", but about all you can get for the price.

It's not worth it for a few reasons. The passive sub with no regular sub out and the full range speakers are the biggest reasons. This system is a step up from a HTIB but it's a very small step. You should look at something like this set from denon and Boston acoustics. The AVR is a bit older but it evil still sound way better than that onkyo set.http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/dendht1513ba/denon-dht-1513ba-home-theater-system-w/boston-acoustics-speakers/1.htmlYou could also get a refurb denon E200 and a 5.1 speaker set for about the same money.http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/denavre200/denon-avr-e200-5.1-channel-3d-home-theater-receiver/1.htmlhttp://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/yamnssp1800bl/yamaha-ns-sp1800-5.1-channel-home-theater-speaker-system/1.html

I would agree. The Denon HT1513ba will be better. I would also say the Onkyo HT6500 is good. www.accessories4less.com has the 5600 refurbished for $299
