Hello,
I want to setup a pair of speakers outside and run it from my AVR inside. Currently I have an Onkyo HT-R340. Usually I run my music from Apple TV (via HDMI) to my receiver. My receiver has options for speakers A, B or A+B. When I hooked up a a speaker to B and tried playing music through both A+B (inside and outside), I could barely hear B. I read that speaker B may have to be run from analog wiring (not HDMI). Could I just get an optical to analog wire? Or would getting a 2 channel A/B speaker selector w/volume control work and run all speaker wires (inside and outside) through that? This way I could just turn up B (outside speakers) to a high volume while keeping the inside speakers at a normal volume level.
Thanks everyone,
-Brady
