The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

I'm working on the first volume of Bonanza's seventh season, but I'm only on episode 9, so I'm not sure if it'll go up tomorrow night or Monday morning. There are more bonus materials than I was expecting with this classic western from the Golden Age.

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike!

45 bucks for the Blu Ray of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"? That's got to be a mistake (not on Mike's part, but that Amazon price, more than double the DVD price)

Another quiet week for me, which is good considering the titles that are coming up. Thanks as always, Mike.

The Frankenstein Legacy Collection is different from the one Universal released a few years ago. That one was only two discs, although disc 2 was a DSDL flipper.

The new one contains 4 discs, and adds the films Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, House of Dracula, and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.

Nothing here. I'm about to finish up a purchase of a new car, so...yeah. Discs are coming second for a while. :)

When I click on the link it goes to a Franky only disc on Amazon. Doesn't appear to be a multi-movie collection.Nevermind. You were talking about the DVD and not the blu.

Did anyone else used to make up lyrics to television theme songs that didn't have any just for fun? These are not remotely the lyrics I would have come up with.

Didn't "Weird Al" just do that at the Emmy awards?

Pat Boone made up some lyrics for the theme music from Exodus. When I was growing up I though the lyrics were original with the film.

This land is mineGod gave this land to meThis brave and ancient landTo me
And when the morning sunReveals her hills and plainsThen I see a landWhere children can run free
So take my handAnd walk this land with meAnd walk this lovely landWith me
Though I am just a manWhen you are by my sideWith the help of GodI know I can be strong
Though I am just a manWhen you are by my sideWith the help of GodI know I can be strong
To make this land our homeIf I must fight, I will fightTo make this land our ownUntil I die, this land is mine

Sweet mother o' god, that 30 movie Universal Monsters set looks damn tasty. Pity that they didn't do the Blu - aside from House of Dracula and the Abbot and Costello flicks (which I really don't care about) I've got the set already on DVD.

So those Mummy, Drac and Frank blus - those are just the same thing as the Ultimate Set from a couple of years ago, right? Just movies in individual packages.
