Bob,

I would probably buy everything from the golden age of 3D....but I have to ask...

Is this a good 3D film to have both in story and 3D effects?

To show my support for your efforts, Bob and Greg, I preordered two (2) copies, just as I did for Dragonfly Squadron.

I urge anyone who has the wherewithal to consider doing the same. Let's do our best to support 3-D on Blu-Ray, especially among these classic titles.

Not to go off topic but can we have a quick run down of all catalog 3D titles that are available or confirmed to be coming soon (non-converted ones)? I have the following listed:

Dial M for Murder
Creature from the Black Lagoon
House of Wax
Inferno
Dragonfly Squadron
The Bubble
Kiss Me Kate
Man in the Dark
Amityville 3-D
3-D Rarities Set

That's it, right?

You might count Pete Walker's The Flesh and Blood Show (1972) but it's only a 10 minute segment. If non-disc then the Mad Magician which has been on Playstation 3 Network. (Wonder how muany copies could've sold in the four years it's been available if on disc).

i ordered....looking forward....and.....when hoping that other titles might eventually make it...Since the MAD MAGICIAN is offered by PS3.....will that preclude it from a blu ray release....love to have that title!

^I doubt it.

Out of the Past (1947) was offered in HD via Vudu before Warner Archive released it on Blu-Ray.

On the Beach (1959) was also offered on Vudu before it was pulled after MGM licensed it to Kino.

Purely speculation on my part but...Sony needed something to differentiate itself from Xbox/Nintendo etc. It made Playstation 3 able to play 3d blu-rays. To broaden the base past gamers, they offered exclusive studio titles such as Mad Magician, Spooks, Pardon My Backfire, and Dark Country on the network. When Twilight Time licensed Sony titles, they decided to make a 3d blu-ray. Sony may have declined to offer Mad Magician to further lure consumers to PS3. TT decided to go with Man In The Dark because 1/it was Columbia's first 3d offering, 2/ it had never been on home video 3/ it's a film noir and 4/ Edmond O"Brien the star was also in the Wild Bunch which TT exec Nick Redman did a commentary 5/ to honor Audrey Totter or Sony may have offered MM but House of Wax had just been released and they didn't want to oversaturate the Vincent Price market. Now I'm wondering why exactly the 3 Stooges shorts were pulled. Anyway back to the Bubble! Thanks to all!

Will this be listed on Amazon Canada . I'm in the UK and they use DHL so I can get items very quick in comparison to the US site . But Canada sometimes does not list certain titles - many Warner Archive and other MOD titles don't appear . If this appears on Amazon.ca I shall pre-order . The story sounds very interesting even without the 3D
