I'm looking specifically for consumer opinions in the home appliance area. I've checked out Epinions, but can't seem to find any other sites similar in nature.

Any ideas??

Thanks a lot...

A lot of time I run into either magazine comparisons or consumer comparisons on the net just by doing a websearch of that specific item so if you're interested in a Flutterby FXG-6500 model titanium/carbon fiber super blender, then you could search for it and probably come across reviews and stuff for it... I use www.deja.com a lot and it seems (to me at least) since they were bought by Google, they have gotten 1000x better.

I also do Jay's technique; simply doing a websearch of the product.

Check out: http://www.consumereview.com/
I believe it's the same engine behind www.audioreview.com but you can goto several different areas including Home Appliances for consumer reviews.

You could also use http://www.activebuyersguide.com/ to help decide which product is best for you.

Good Luck,

I will second a recommendation for (activebuyersguide.com). I've used it for everything from electronics to home appliances. Excellent site, easy to use, great information, etc...
