With the recent passing of the lovely Lauren Bacall :( , I couldn't help but wonder now if we'll see a Lauren Bacall Collection set released onto Blu-ray much like is currently being done with some Audrey Hepburn films. Especially some of Lauren's films with Bogie.

Would love to see The Big Sleep and Key Largo on blu as well as To Have and Have Not & Dark Passage.

I believe How to Marry a Millionaire is already out as part of the Marilyn Monroe series of films on Blu.

C'mon Hollywood. Help us honor the memory of Lauren by making some of her best work available in high-resolution Blu.

If you've been paying attention to HTF member/contributor Robert A. Harris' posts regarding what you're talking about, he's hinted very strongly that a Bogart/Bacall blu-ray catalog box set may well be on the front burner for release in 2015..."The Big Sleep" is already confirmed for a January 2015 release on blu-ray at Warner...

If you mean a Bogart collection in which Lauren Bacall was the leading actress, yes, it's coming in 2015.
Well that's good news and now it gets added to my 1st qtr 2015 budget. Bogie & Bacall.Still would like to see a Lauren Bacall Collection of films, probably those done without Bogie.

I would love to have a bluray of To Have & Have Not. Hopefully they still have some original elements. The sound track in particular could use some work - much of Hoagie Carmichael's piano is distorted on the DVD.

The only time I've been really impressed by Lauren Bacall was seeing her in To Have And Have Not which is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'd love a Blu-ray disc from restored elements.

How To Marry A Millionaire is probably my favorite film of her's, she was very good at comedy. Too bad Fox blew it with the recent release, they should of gotten Lauren to film or record her talking about the film and working with Marilyn and Betty.

Brad here. Being the cinematic sicko who actually likes colorized movies (digitally well done of course), I'd love to see some of the Bogie-Bacall classics in living color.

Not that I don't appreciate the artistry of noir films, especially as a photographer.

Then again, I'm one of the few people, well humans anyway who likes anchovies on my pizza (Kyrsten doesn't like them very much).

Robert here. I hope to never see such abominations again in my lifetime.

Lauren was brilliant with comedy. I think she gets most of the quotable quotes in "How to Marry a Millionaire". She always cracks me up when she talks about her husband clobbering her with a chicken ("a baked chicken - stuffed!"). And of course, "As soon as I finish this horseburger I never want to see you again".
