I am trying to figure out the right setting for my subwoofer. Any thoughts on the setting for the following?

Mode:
1) On?
2)Off?
3)Auto?

Phase?
1)180?
2)o I think?

Low Level?
Right or left
In or Out?

Crossover?

I have a Denon AVR 391. How do you know if auto works?

You try it. Seriously.I leave my subs powered on.The only full proof method of auto on/off is 12v. Which neither the 391, nor that sub, has.

Oh yeah. The sub itself, turn the crossover all the way up. I can't see the pic well enough at Episode.com to see if anything is labelled "LFE". As that would bypass the crossover knob.

HTF, I just check the sub and it does have a setting "LFE". I turned it all the way up to LFE. Dumb question, What does this do?

It allows its own crossover to get out of the way...so the AVR has control of it.
