Hello everyone. I'm planning to turn my small apartment into my private cinema and gaming center. I am a fan of watching movies AND gaming so my setup will have two purposes. It's a new apartment so when I was putting up walls I installed the cables for speakers and for projector. SO basically this is my setup:

Like i said, it's my first time, if I did something wrong, well, then I have to dael with it, because what's done, it's done :xGeneraly speaking, I want to install projector behind the coach, under the ceiling. It will be attached 3.7m (about 12feets) away from screen.
I want to have 5.1 speakers, with the station under the screen. Like you can see on my awesome representation of my apartment, four speakers are already placed, all of them right under the ceiling. Well, not physically, but the cables are there, I can't move walls now, it's too late... well, the possibilty is there, but wife would kill me.Anyway, the rooms have windows but with installed shutters that make almost complete blackout, so the sunlight it's not problem in the room.I looked after projectors on the Internet and I chose already this one (I didin't buy it yet, but I'm almost decided):http://www.trustedreviews.com/benq-w1070_Projector_review_conclusions_Page-3#tr-review-summary

Any opinions? The last thing I have to do is to choose audio system. This makes couple problems for me.First thing, what equipment would be nice for me? The price is up to around 500$ (if really needed, can be slightly higher)I'm planing to connect it to two things - my Playstation 3 (so I can watch blueray movies and play games) and my PC so I can watch other things from my PC.As far as I know I can connect console with optical cable and that's all. But what about PC? Do I need something special for that? Do I need special Sound Card?

Another thing is screen. I don't have screen bought yet, I'm still thinking about it. I read that I should absolutely forget about naked white wall and forget about rolled screen. So there are two options left: a screen attached to wall and screen painted on the wall with special paint, what do you think about them? And last qustion. I'm not a audiphile, I'm looking just for beter experience. Of course I want the best for the lowest price, but I won't cut myself if I won't get what I want. But can you tell me what do you thing about this setup? Is it "fun" and worth investment?

Cheers and thanks!

What about a screen attached to the wall that is painted? I built my screen with that in mind but after 6 years, I have never taken it down to paint it.

The cheaper alternative for the screen is painting which will yield good results if your wall is smooth. Could the saved money be moved to the audio budget?

It was for me. But I saved a LOT of money by building things myself.

Finally, you are limiting us on recommendations by not listing your location. I'm assuming it is outside of the U.S. since your diagram has metric measurements.

So you say that self-made screens are good enough? I'll look into that.

I'm from Poland, I don't think there will be problem with availability.

So you're saying I should search forum for information about these three things?

Good enough for me. When I was looking at projectors, a local company wanted close to $1,000 for one. I ended up reading a few sites that had instructions and figured it would only waste my time if it was a total failure. The first time I turned on the projector, my wife said "It looks better than that screen/projector combination we saw at the store." Then I reminded her that combination was around $15,000.
