Has anyone noticed about 15 minutes or so into the film there is a dramatic drop in dialogue volume that lasts for a few minutes. I have a two speaker bose system.Low dialogue  is noted for center channel on another review site..Sound effects and music are fine. As movie progresses there seems to be more of a balance.between all three.

I noticed on the original DVD that the dialogue was unusually soft, quite early in the film, but was better as the film progressed.  This may be an elements issue, but a piffling one.

Yes, I felt the music seemed too far back in the mix in the early going, but I was having too much fun with the glorious picture to mind.

Not a Blake Edwards fan, but what the hell, I love Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood. And at the current WAC price, no point in not grabbing it. Looking forward to setting aside a nice three hours...
