I'd be up for DARK HALF...but only if it is the Director's Cut.  And I enjoyed Englund's PHANTOM more than some other more-esteemed versions.:

I believe at least those region B releases include pretty weak transfer (some people even say that it's just upscaled SD, dunno), but is the US BD from the same master?


The Region A transfer is also pretty weak.  It really did seems like an upscaled DVD in terms of detail, or at least in the ballpark.  Detail was very soft throughout (and, no, I doubt it was a film stock/cinematography issue).


I'm hoping the new blu-ray for Escape from New York at least has something better
