Well with the announcements of Holiday Inn, Christmas in Connecticut and Christmas Carol, I hope you allow me to start a thread about our favourite Christmas films that haven't been released yet on Blu-ray.
Christmas is my favourite time of year, and I absolutely love watching Christmas films, animations and TV specials..
So, what's yours?

Mine in order of preference:

The Homecoming: A Christmas Story (1971) (pilot of The Waltons)One Magic Christmas (1985)
A Muppet Family Christmas (1987)
In the Good old Summertime (1948)
The Lion in Winter (1968)
Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas (1977)
Fabulous Baker Boys (1989)
All Mine To Give (1957)
The Man Who Came to Dinner (1942)
Holiday Affair (1949)
I'll be Seeing You (1944)Prancer (1989)The Nutcracker (1993)

I'd like to see a bd of A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES. I know it's 16mm, but it's a charming little tv movie.

I was JUST about to edit my post and add this because I just remembered it! :)
Yes, charming nostalgic movie with a very warm atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I doubt Hen's Tooth will upgrade it. No idea who has rights in the UK. I think it was a Canadian production, no?

Deanna Durbin's "Lady on a Train" is technically also a Christmas film.

And so is the Frank Sinatra/Groucho Marx film, "Double Dynamite".

Ugh. Someone from Hen's Tooth just informed me Echo Bridge has it. Never mind, never going to see a bd in the US of it now. : \

Unfortunately, think only video-broadcast sources of the Carroll Ballard/Maurice Sendak Nutcracker: the Motion Picture (1986) remain at MGM, so we'll just have to settle for that MOD DVD. :(

As for why Warner has similarly exiled Curse of the Cat People (1944 - yes, it's a Christmas picture, even though the climax takes place a week or two after) to the Archive, some other charitable niche-catalog company will have to take up the cause.

And ahem, not to gripe about the thread, but how about Preston Sturges's Christmas in July?? ;)

This is another Christmas title (at least it takes place during Christmas), but I can't see it ever catching on as a yuletide staple:

The shops in the town are all emblazoned with 'Season's Greetings' and such. Adds an ironic if rather chilling aspect to the story.

I prefer DIE HARD THX AC-3 laserdisc as it has the original theatrical Dolby mix with the sound effects placed in the correct location as to what I heard at the cinema seeing this only on optical, 35mm Dolby A-type, at least 5 times some at double bill with DIE HARD 2 and PREDATOR 1 and 2 late night shows.

The DVD edition that I have and I suspect bluray as well will be same as the DVD with sound effects placed in the wrong stage channel locations.

Its got Christmas tree with lots of bloody "18" rated swearing in them. Its got bodies being tossed out of high rise building that end up wearing a car windshield, lol. Its got bodies flying though air, and crashing down into glass, Ouch! Its got FBI agents, being blown to smithereens. "We're gonna need some more FBI guys, I guess?" lmao.

TV movie. Corny, but I loved it as a kid. Shirley Jones was hot.
