I am starting a project and am looking for advice on what I'll need. I want 3 tvs mounted on one wall. I will have surround sound but only care about volume for one tv at a time. I'd like to be able to control 3 boxes and the sound thru one remote. I have uverse as a provider currently. The boxes will be behind a wall so I'm assuming I will need IR.Any tips on what I need or consider? Is this doable with uverse as my provider? Any advice is much appreciated.

You should wire multiple COAX, CAT5, and HDMI cables from each TV location to your home run.

You'll probably be best running everything to the receiver, and using its inputs to switch audio only.
