The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Thanks, Mike! I'll be picking up Insomnia, and unless B&N extends their Criterion sale an extra week (it has happened before), that'll be it until the fall sale. Otherwise, nothing else for me this week.

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike.

I have reviewed Shogun and Witness for the Prosecution in case anyone wants to read information on the films/shows or their video/audio quality. Sorry I didn't get to review The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes which I really wanted to do, but Kino told us review copies were limited.

I'm also slated to get Dom Hemingway for review this week, but it hasn't arrived yet. I am going to get last week's Rio 2 in 3D this week, too. There was a slip-up in communication with the PR folks.

I *may* pick up the "Last Action Hero" BD. I have the original DVD "flipper" which contained an anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen transfer on one side and a ridiculous P&S transfer on the other. It was inexplicably re-released about a year later with only the P&S transfer(?).Anyway, it's long overdue for an upgrade.
