Just got the Samsung UN50EH6000 LED and noticed that the picture on the screen doesn't extend fully to the left bezel. Looks to be about a millimeter off or so. Was able to get a picture to show what I mean. Is this normal or a defective TV? Picture goes all the way to the right bezel by the way. Have tried my chromecast, xbox 360, and cable box and all do the same.

I will add that the TV was moved by a moving company and layed flat on its side for a long time even though the box said not to. Not sure if this could have done that or anything.

All I see is a ridiculously bright flash.
It was the only way I could get the picture. I circled in red what I am talking about.

What is that "goo" in the upper left? (that stuff that angles to the right as it goes up...past the light streaks)

I'd contact Samsung...don't mention to them it was laid flat.

If it is out of warranty...ask them if laying it flat can dislodge the panel(I know for a fact it can...but I'm "just a dude on the internet")...

If so, get some reparations from the idiots who laid it down.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help.

From what I remember its just dust, but I can double check later before I send it back.
I am able to return it for a full refund so I will be doing that and getting another one.

Thanks again!

Update: The new Samsung has the same issues excepts this one seems to have it around all parts of the screen. Not just the left bezel this time.

What are the chances of getting 2 defective TVs in a row from different sellers?
