A buddy of mine from work wants to downsize from a dated 5.1 HTIB setup to a sound bar. He plans to use his current sub with the new setup and wouldn't mind wireless rear sneakers but would forego rears for superior sound. What would you guys recommende?

There are no soundbars made, by anybody, at any price, that work with passive HTiB "sub"woofers.

Amazon has the BA TVee 26 with a "sub"woofer for $300.
