Obviously I am thrilled when WB tosses us a Blu-ray bone. Hope lots more are coming! So far, I own every single Archive Blu-ray.

That's why we have to keep on buying them if we want them to continue. I preordered as soon as it was made available the other day to do so.

The Big Sleep is already known to be in the blu-ray pre-release pipeline, thanks to hints dropped at Warner Archives' Facebook page...
That's not going to be a WA release though and I thought RAH was talking WA releases?

Yeah, I sorta feel compelled to get it for the same reason.

Are they playing a bit of a blinder with the Archives?

Think about it. What are the pros and cons of the TT mode?

Pros: Die-hard fans will pay top dollar for films they really want.

Cons: If you sell 3,000 copies quickly you can't make any more money for the next 3 years.

If Warner releases archive content like this on the WA brand for more money than normal, they get TT levels of money, only without the 3,000 limit.

The WA label will be almost as attractive to buyers as the 'limited edition' tag.

I never bought a TT BD for $15.39 which is what I'm paying for Out of the Past preorder at Amazon.
