One of my favorites, but is this just a repackaging (at $10.49 that seems likely)?

If there are new, note-worthy, features or some kind of new 4k scan (even though the image quality of the current Blu-ray seems good to me), then it might be a re-purchase.

I'd be interested in seeing those questions answered too Mark. Young Frankenstein is my favorite Mel Brooks film and if there's a new scan and/or new features involved I would buy. If it's just a repackage (which seems likely) I'll definitely pass.

So this is, what, the third Blu-ray release of this film?

Here are some that haven't had one yet:

ANASTASIA (a Studio Classics DVD)
ANNA AND THE KING OF SIAM (a Studio Classics DVD)
BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS
CRUCIBLE, THE
DECISION BEFORE DAWN
DESERT RATS
EMPEROR OF THE NORTH (POLE)
FLAMING STAR (Elvis!)
FORT APACHE THE BRONX (on DVD as letterbox only)
GODS MUST BE CRAZY 1 & 2
HANGOVER SQUARE
HIGH WIND IN JAMAICA, A (A lovely film -- I would pay $100.00 for a Blu of this!)
HUSH HUSH SWEET CHARLOTTE (A Studio Classics DVD)
LIFEBOAT (Hey, it's Hitchcock!)
LOST WORLD (1960)
MARK OF ZORRO (1940) (A Studio Classics DVD)
MEPHISTO WALTZ (Hopefully a TT Halloween release?)
MOTHER JUGS AND SPEED
MY BODYGUARD
MY DARLING CLEMENTINE (A Studio Classics DVD)
NIGHTMARE ALLEY
NIGHT TRAIN TO MUNICH
OX-BOW INCIDENT (A Studio Classics DVD)
PANIC IN NEEDLE PARK
PAPER CHASE, THE
PRETTY POISON (Region-free Blu available in Europe)
QUEST FOR FIRE (Region-free Blu available in Europe)
SLEUTH (1972 -- YOU DISTRIBUTED THIS AT THE TIME, BUT YOUR RIGHTS MAY HAVE ELAPSED)
SOUNDER
TITAN A.E. (C'mon -- a major animated film!)
TWO FOR THE ROAD (A Studio Classics DVD)
UNFAITHFULLY YOURS (1948) (Preston Sturges! Could get a Criterion upgrade)
VON RYAN'S EXPRESS (REMASTERED FROM SCRATCH)

At least some of these must be viable for Blu-ray. And I realize Twilight Time and Criterion are probably working on a few of them. And we all appreciate the stellar work you have done in past years with catalog titles. Please, however, when you are re-issuing your most popular titles for a third time, throw us collectors a deep catalog bone! Or -- have you considered adding Blu-rays to your MOD line?

Thanks!

Heaven forbid that we get a high def transfer of one of their pan and scan disasters like The Best Things in Life Are Free or Mardi Gras. Argh!

I wanted them to do a new transfer of Blazing Saddles when that was re-released recently. Didn't happen. I have YF in the Mel Brooks collection set--fine set, by the way--and the first time I was ever able to see the Twelve Chairs on home video. Anyway, I hope they make money off YF simply so they can use the money to restore some of their other films and get them out there! If they're making money, then it's always a good thing for collectors.

I got that Brooks set on Blu too, so no need for this one unless it's a massive improvement.
