Hi
I have a basement divided into 2 sections: one is used for hometheater (7.1) setup and the second is an dance floor with 6 in-ceiling speakers plus a subwoofer. The 6 speakers are wired individually (not in series or parallel). I will be using either the Hometheater or the in-ceiling speakers and never both at the same time. My idea was to buy a HT receiver (7.1) for hometheater and a multi channel amp (for in-ceiling speakers). Is it possible to play a CD or hook my iphone to the receiver and output sound to the ceiling speakers. If not, what is the other option, i am trying to avoid purchasing 2 receivers.
