I could never get my WD MyCloud NAS to work with our DirecTV setup. We've now moved and we have Dish with Hopper DVR. My WD MyCloud supposedly will act as a media server for multiple formats. While playing around with the Hopper, it can connect directly to my PCs MS Media Center. Now the question to which I've yet to find an answer after several years of net searching. What file format is the one that will preserve the chapters on the video and still be playable via the WD MyCloud. Do I need any special setting for the Hopper? My dream is to archive my 500+ DVDs to the WD 4TB NAS.
