It's also sell in not sell through.The L stuff looked good, in a kinda "yah we're ripping off Metro even more than people thought Apple would" kinda way. They shoulda stopped there. Nothing else was ready for prime time and it devolved into an overly long mess.

Is there a point to owning a smartwatch yet? Although I must say the $199 price tag is getting closer to impulse purchase territory.

After seeing today's demo by Samsung, I believe so.
However, as impressive as a SmartWatch presentation it was, I can't make
any final decisions until Apple introduces their iWatch in a few months.
Funny...the choice on my next brand of phone will probably depend on who
makes the better SmartWatch.
