Hi,

I just found this article and I hardly believe an audio system to be this expensive.

Even so, let's say that you inherit millions; would you spend 5 Million Sterling (8,406,000 $) on a home cinema system?

(full article here https://www.lottoland.co.uk/magazine/the-ultimate-5-million-home-cinema.html).

I highly doubt that I would ever spend anything close to that amount of money on a home theater setup.

Yes, seriously. For a mansion maybe, but probably not even for a Supercar
How many can they sell of those per year?

If you are interested in that kind of level you might be interested in learning about the Kipnis studio Standard, the Guiness record holder for the most expensive home theater.http://www.kipnis-studios.com/The_Kipnis_Studio_Standard/Kipnis_Home_Theaters.htmlJeremy is a member here and he has reasons beyond just mere ostentatious consumption for doing what he does, it's a business. Check out this thread:http://www.hometheaterforum.com/topic/267953-kipnis-studio-standard-discussion-thread-with-jeremy-kipnis/And yes, Jeremy sells enough of his KSS setups to the ultra rich to keep building more of them. He's a real guy who happens to have goals and plans that don't match up with the average pocket book, but that doesn't make him a boor.

Most expensive, all in, theater I've designed? (all-in means specially designed walls...recessed lighting, lighting/curtain controls)

1.6 million.

The audio components were $750,000.

And by the way...

Stewart Cabaret isn't even the most expensive(nor best) screen.
