I think not, Mr. Bosh.

Congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs and their fans.  The Spurs nearly dominated this series from beginning to end.  Duncan got his fifth ring.  I'm really happy for him. :)

Or John Havlicek with eight rings in sixteen years, Sam Jones with eight straight titles and ten rings in twelve years, or Bill Russell with eight straight titles and eleven rings in thirteen years....

Just watched some of the highlights on espn which is the most basketball I've watched in years.  So I've got a question: when did 1 1/2 steps become 2 or 2 1/2 steps?  I know it happened years ago.  When did it happen and why?  I don't I've head about any rule changes, do they just call the games different?

Used to be you had 1 1/2 steps when you stopped dribbling.  Now they let the players practically travel a half court!  OK, slight exaggeration.

Johnny,

It depends on whom is dribbling the ball. ;)

I think San Antonio did a very good job in just about all aspects of the game in the NBA Finals.  I didn't think they were going to be able to defeat the Miami Heat, but I was wrong.  And it turns out that they were actually playing the Miami Cavaliers.  I do wish that Bosh and Wade had been able to play in the finals as it would have made it much more interesting.  In any event, hats off to the Spurs!

I think in another 25 years...when some other "sports channel" comes along and super cedes ESPN...

This will be known as the "ESPN era". And people will remember there were sports before ESPN needed 9 channels.
