I was curious to see if anyone here gets Loot Crate or Nerd Block.
I just started this month.
Very happy with both so far.
I also get Nature Box.

Sam,

When I got my Nerd Block and Loot Crate this month it made me think of that extra day we had with the HTF Meet and we went to Barnes and Noble and you bought those blind boxes for your relative.

Nerd Block is cool for the fact that it comes with a T-shirt every month.
I liked Loot Crate this month, it's theme was "Adventure"
And I received an Adventure Time Mystery Tin figure and a Legend of Zelda T-shirt.

I can take a few quick pics of both boxes.

Cool thanks John. My nephews are still addicted to those vinyl guys, and I've got a collection of Funko Pop stuff myself.

Here's what kills me tho: $6 a box in shipping. I'm soooo used to Amazon prime free shipping that I just rrrrrrrrrrrrr at $6 a box. =)

When I first looked at em there wasn't a backlog of 6 months of boxes to see, looking today it does look like good value in em. My biggest beef was I can't wear normal sized Ts but I figure if I put in for my nephew's size one of em will wear em. They have 3x now too, which fit me some of the time.

This was from Nerd Block this month (May)
WiiU Mario "dangler"
Star Wars/Game of Thrones T-shirt
Spiderman Comic Book "Fan Expo Exclusive"
Star Wars Papercraft Playset
Star Wars Darth Vader Plush

Loot Crate is actually cheaper than Nerd Block
Nerd Block ships out of Canada so there's higher shipping rates.
Nerd Block is worth it for the money since you get a T-shirt every month.
Loot Crate first box is $3 off
Nerd Block with a friend request is $10 off the first box (i'm pretty sure or maybe I'm thinking of Nature Box)

I collect lots of blind bags/boxes myself.

Alright, I will probably sign up for both, maybe even the horror one too. Sending you a PM on an email to send me a friend request so you get credit for it.

In case anyone else is interested, Loot Crate with my referal is http://mbsy.co/6lWf3
Also be sure to use the $3 off first Loot Crate code at the top of the website.

Nerd Block doesn't have a referal program. (my bad)
I was thinking of Nature Box, they have the $10 off first box when refered by friend.

I signed up for Loot Crate, Horror Block and Nerd Block. That $9.50 a box in shipping is dreadful tho. Going on your endorsement tho, hoping it works out well. And heck, I never buy myself any new T-shirts so a few geeky ones that actually fit will be nice. I selected my nephews size for the Loot crate so hopefully something they will like there too.

Loot Crate has "themes" and will announce June's soon.
Nerd Block is random stuff.

Careful with Nerd Block, since it ships from Canada it has a declare itemized list on the front of the box
which spoils the surprise of what's inside. So as soon as you get it, flip it over and open it upside-down.

Nerd Block ships out on the 15th of every month and Loot Crate ships out on the 19-20th of every month.
I get both boxes in about four days after it ships. Even the Canada one arrives quick.

I learned about Nerd Block from a high school / Facebook friend who's super into it. It's a cute idea, but doesn't suit my spending interests. :)What I'm wondering is: After a year, you'll have dozens of keychains, mini figs, paper craft models, and random comic books. What do you do with all that stuff?

The reason I do both boxes...

You get exclusive original t-shirts to wear each month.
Keychains and zipper pulls I decorate my messenger bag with.
Vinyl figures and blind bag figures I like decorating my apartment with.
It's also the fun of getting something not knowing what your going to get.

It's almost like a nerdy inception.
Getting a box of stuff not knowing what it is, inside is stuff you don't know which one you're going to get.

Other stuff you get in the boxes are exclusive items which are cool to get.

There's another box service called "Booty Bin" which isn't great at all.
It's just a box of random stuff. Not nerdy or geeky at all.

Plus some of the stuff you get is like a try out.
If you get a blind bag/box you like, that you didn't know existed, you may want to collect more of them.
Like the Adventure Time Mystery Mini Tin figures.
I LOVE them and have already started getting more to collect.

Also Sam, I'm curious about the horror one.
Please post pics of what you get in that one.

I'll post pics of my next boxes for anyone that's interested in knowing what I get.

June is a perfect time to get Nerd Block.
Nerd Block just announced that their June block will have two t-shirts inside.

The inclusion of an extra t-shirt will not lessen the other goodies.
They have already stated that an extra t-shirt is a bonus.

They have also hinted that
Doctor Who and/or Adventure Time
goodies will be in this box

I'm suspecting that the reason for this theme has something to do with a shitty director's movie coming out.
Loot Crate might also throw in a Transformer Kreo blind bag or multi set.
I would like something to do with the original series.
But nothing Michael Bay-ish.
