This is almost harder than picking my favorites from the 60s! I was born in 1966 so I definitely watched a lot of TV in the 70s and have a mixture of sentimental/nostalgic favorites and even some new favorites.  Here goes:

 

The Carol Burnett Show

The Brady Bunch

Little House on the Prairie

The Waltons

Charlie's Angels

Since I was born in this decade I only know of shows that were good/popular enough to have been repeated through the 80s on British television, but there were some gloriously funny shows in this decade on UK TV. My favourites include:

Fawlty Towers

 

Open All Hours

 

Porridge
