The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

--Best Buy Odds and Ends:  None to report.

--Target this week has an EXCLUSIVE RELEASE of Orange is the New Black: Season 1 (both DVD and Blu).  Includes EXCLUSIVE content.

Thanks for the Roundup!

Her this week immediately and Spirit eventually. It seems odd to say I'll wait for a price drop when the SRP is $14.99, but Amazon isn't discounting it, which makes it $17 with tax here, and that's more than I want to pay for a catalog title upgrade lacking new bonus material.

That production of RICHARD II is phenomenal -- I saw it as a special event at my local arthouse in December. Anybody interested in Shakespeare should definitely check it out. I would like to get it at some point, but $27 plus tax is too high -- maybe later if it drops. It's great though, and worth a rental at the very least if you can find it.

Spirit is $3.99 for Frys; Anniversary Sale through Thursday if you have a local store or order online (FS at $23) or Price Match at BBY
Crocodile Dundee will be $5.99 at the same sale.

Lots of other pretty good prices on some Blurays to get you to Free Shipping.

The First World War set on Entertainment One replaces an earlier (and more expensive) set on Image. Has anyone had any experience with the quality of the Entertainment One pressings?

I'll be renting Her and I may even rent I, Frankenstein at some point just to see if it's as bad as it looks. I will be picking up Flying Tigers.

Think Blue = Blu, Sam! ;)

I've thought about flip-flopping the grids...but you know people tend to be creatures of habit...

There seems to be a software problem in the forum these days. Somehow Sam's title has changed from "nutter" to "moderator". That surely cannot be correct.
