Hi there,
I have found in our second house Sony SEN-R5520 (SAW553+HCD551). When I have connected everything is okay but something (probably on amp) is wrong with front left speaker output - i have tried to change speakers and all cables but on leftfront speaker when i mute the sound you can hear electronic noise with a little volume from tuner and its last preset.
Can somebody here help me? Thanks.

Are you saying you swapped the right and left speaker? Try that if not. If the problem follows the speaker, it is obviously the speaker. If the problem stays on the left side, it is the receiver/amp. It also may seem obvious, but if there is a balance control, make sure it is set properly - I've done that too.

The sound you hear when you mute is "crosstalk" in the PCB from the tuner.

Hi. I've cleaned the amp pcbs (its in superwoofer part) from dust (hell of a dust after 20 or so years). And outputs are okay atm. But now I have few problems with pre amp (i am thinking that it is worn capacitors) because when I lower volume to 0 I can still hear music playing with crappy quality, and also now I can hear more electrical noise from speakers and eg. when i turn on the system cd changer is checking for cds and i can hear that in speakers...
